2009 Clearwater Wedding - Cupcakes!

A fun filled wedding reception took place in Clearwater Florida 10/09.
Cupcakes embellished with fondant roses and pearls atop a delicious buttercream topping for each guest to enjoy.
A cake topper covered in fondant and embellished with the royal icing and pearls to replicate the lace on the brides wedding gown.

Graduation Cake - University of Tennessee

A young lady leaving the Bay Area for University of Tennessee. Gina the chef designed and created the cake with a fun theme as this would be the beginning of a new adventure for her college life in Tennessee.

Ladybug cake with cupcakes was a 6 year old birthday party June 09. Ladybug was the theme and Gina the chef created the cake and cupcakes to match the invitations that were sent out to the guests and decorations for the party. The cake and cupcakes were a huge success!

The cake is a 5 tier almond cake with white chocolate amaretto buttercream filling and fondant with edible pearl bows.

Kelly and Jeff's Wedding

Kelly and Jeff's wedding reception was held at Ceviches on June 9, 2009.

Their wedding cake was designed with the flowers that were carried in the bouquets and table center piece arrangements. The cake is a heart shaped cake with a pink ginger sugar flower created by Gina our chef.

Raymond Cake!

Carrie Wildes ordered a birthday cake for her husband's 30th birthday. He is a Rays fun so he wanted something with Raymond. Our chef Gina created a red velvet cake(David's favorite)with vanilla butter cream. Carrie took some amazing photos of the cake and she sent them to us in no time. Enjoy!!

Judy from The Dressing Room invited It's Icing On The Cake to participate in their trunk show on March 27th and 28Th. It's Icing On The Cake prepared Tiffany boxes mini cakes in delicious White Cake with Strawberry butter cream filling, for the brides to taste while trying on wedding gowns. Thank you Judy.

How cute is this! Our Chef had to create this Yo Gabba Gabba cake for a client's daughter that just turned two, I couldn't resist putting a picture on our blog. It's so adorable!!!

Last weekend we were featured at the Brides by Demetrios Trunk Show. Leslie and Andrea were very welcoming. Thank you to the entire Brides by Demetrios team for featuring It's Icing On The Cake as a preffered vendor.

Fish cupcakes

It's my son's 2nd birthday on Sunday and our chef Gina offered to make cupcakes for his preschool. When I went to pick them up I was so exited, there were the cutest thing ever. They were shaped like little fish bowls. Gina didn't know that my son is a Pisces and that we often call him "fish". The little ones and the teachers couldn't wait to taste them. They were perfect.

Sacino's Bridesmaides Event

The bridesmaids event on Saturday the 28Th was a great success. Brides enjoyed tastings of Coconut and raspberry butter cream cupcakes from It"s Icing On the Cake.
